WIFI 产品频谱分享机制即将强制导入执行

欧盟较新公告RTTE调和标准表-2014/9/12 版公布,针对WIFI (802.11)网通产品要强制导入执行频谱分享机制(Spectrum sharing mechanism/Adaptivity)的预定日期 2014/12/31没有变更! 这意味着之前产品如果是符合旧法规,明年起产品还要继续销售,那就必须更改软件,支持频谱分享机制.

这新法规的强制日期2014/12/31 指的是在市场上的产品,在2015/1/1 就必须符合新法,因此现在离年底还有一季,还没进行软件更新且明年还要继续销售的客户们.请赶快进行变更行动,避免市场抽测,或遭到竞争对手检举造成产品下架!

New version of standard EN 300 328 is mandatory from January 1st, 2015
Harmonised under RTTE Directive 1999/5/EC, version 1.8.1 of the standard EN 300 328 (Wideband transmission systems; Data transmission equipment operating in the 2.4 GHz ISM band and using wide band modulation techniques) supersedes the previous version 1.7.1 by 1.1.2015. The scope of the standard includes e.g. 2.4 GHz WLAN- and Bluetooth -equipment.

Also the existing products are covered by the new requirements
Radio equipment that are in the scope of this standard and are placed on the market next year must fulfil the requirements of the new standard version. New requirements apply also to equipment that are tested according to the previous version, if the manufacturing and deliveries continue. The same is also valid for equipment that include a CE-marked RF-module; they must also comply with version 1.8.1 from 1.1.2015.

The new version 1.8.1 brings along significant new testing requirements, for example adaptivity test to verify the effectiveness of the spectrum sharing mechanism/Adaptivity. In addition, certain test methods are changed, especially with power and power density measurements. I-test Laboratory has now capability to perform tests according to EN 300 328 version 1.8.1 with our new fully automatic testing system. When you manufacture or import equipment that are in the scope of these new requirements, make sure that you ensure compliance with EN 300 328 version 1.8.1 by booking testing in good time before the end of the year.
